Exclusive encounter- Kapybara

    Meet the unknown animals at close range!

    Join us to meet these unknown animals of South America. The capybara, sometimes addressed as a ‘water pig’, is the world’s biggest rodent. This water-loving animal can hold it’s breath for a staggering five minutes and is an impressive swimmer and diver. You’ll enter their facility and sit with the animals accompanied by a zoo keeper - a truly close encounter!

    The Experience
    The screening takes about 30 minutes and is carried out in groups with a maximum of 8 guests.
    We reserve the right to make changes to our shows and activities due to our animals or other unforeseen events.

    Age limit
    15 years if not accompanied by an adult.

    Ticket
    All guests regardless of age need to purchase this activity ticket to participate in the activity.
    To take part in the guided tour, everyone in the party also needs to book an entrance ticket to the zoo.

    You meet your guide:

    • At 10.30 at the big plank at the South America facility.
    • At 13.45 at the big plank at the South America facility.

    Availability
    It is about a 20-minute walk at a normal pace with a steep hill at one point.
