    Accessibility

    Companion and ride assistance

Do you need a companion or alternative queue for your visit? We are now introducing a new certificate that makes it easier! Read more here.

    What is alternative queue?

When you have shown a certificate confirming your need for an alternative queue, you will receive an accessibility wristband. The accessibility wristband allows you to enter via the exit at the rides, reducing your waiting time before it's your turn. You can read more about what applies at each ride in the accessibility guide.

    Who can sign my certificate?

A person who is familiar with your disability and works in healthcare, support services, or education can sign the certificate.

Those who can sign the certificate are:

    • Healthcare professionals, such as doctors, nurses, psychologists, counselors, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, or speech therapists
    • Special educators, teachers, or teaching assistants in adapted schools, preschools, or schools
    • Support educators or housing support workers
    • Personal assistance companies

How long is the certificate valid?

Three years from the date of signing.

I use a wheelchair, do I need to bring a certificate?

No, if you are in a wheelchair, you do not need a certificate to receive an accessibility band, as it is clear to our staff that you are unable to use the other queues. However, if you wish to bring a companion, you will need the certificate.

If you have a different disability and require an alternative queue and/or companionship, you must always bring a certificate (or have it registered on Mina sidor from a previous visit).

    Who can be my companion?

Your companion must be at least 16 years old and should be able to provide valid ID. The companion is responsible for supporting you throughout the visit.

Does my companion get in for free?

Yes, with a valid certificate your companion enters for free. You as a guest pay the regular price.

How many companions can I bring into the park?

One to two companions, depending on what is stated in your certificate. If you need additional companions, they pay the regular price.

What are the rules for animal shows and performances?

At most shows and presentations, there are designated spaces for guests using wheelchairs. We recommend arriving in good time. The range of shows varies depending on the season. Guests with an accessibility wristband may use the pre-booked seating queue where such a queue is available. Please note that pre-booked seats in the grandstand are not included with the accessibility wristband.

How many people can join me in the alternative queue?

You may always bring one person with you. In some rides where you sit together in groups, you may bring more. Read what applies to each ride in our accessibility guide or ask the park staff.
